Friends

Friend ship is such a gr8 relation in this word… its one relation which will make u forget all ur sorrows and will take u to new heights… a frnd will be one with whom u can share anything which u cant share with ur parents or relatives…

The reason y many of us had a happy life in our childhood is that, when we feel like laughing we laugh out loudly and when we feel like crying we cry out loudly… i.e. we don’t control our emotions in our child hood… but as we grow up we control our emotions because of our surroundings so we wont be mentally fit always…

If u have lots and lots of frnds around u, u will have more people to share ur emotions and ur life will be mentally very good since u have exposed ur emotions (I feel that I am lucky in having many frnds)

At the same time one should see to that the expectations doesn’t grow along with frndship… if it grows then having frnds will be of no use… and we should also know our limits to our frnds... if we exceed our limits we might receive harsh replies from our dear frnds which will make u feel more worse…

Suddenly felt like sharing this… so bloged it :)

Does Temple serve its Purpose now???

Nowadays Temples have become very commercial... The number of temples is increasing like anything.... in olden days temple served lots of purposes...

In olden days they took years to build a temple... I was really amazed on seeing good old temples... they exposed the talent of the Indian architects... hope u all know that our leg has many acupuncture points... Walking in temple's rough floor is an acupuncture treatment ... (but nowadays temples are built with marble floors which doesn’t serve any such purposes [money plays])... and many used to walk around such big temples many time in a day... that is a great exercise for them... and the sacred water which they give in the temple is a blend of many herbs... because of these acupuncture, walking, blend of many herbs and many more(and also because of gods blessings) the diseases get cured when we go to temple.... In olden days marriages were done only in the temples.... and one more purpose was during war period all the children and women will be in temples since it’s a safe place to be in... And what not???? Many such purposes were solved by the temple... And the money which are collected in the temples were used to do good to the people and to maintain the temple

Though don’t know much about temples, these many things comes to my mind when I think of the olden temples.

When I think of the present temple the first thing which come to my mind is "PAID ENTRANCE", we have tickets for Rs5, 10 and even Rs500 in some temples... they say that as special Dharisanam... this is introducing a new caste system(in a place which is common to all) which is based on the money which u have… in a temple priority should not be given to any one on any basis… if one is so very particular on seeing the god in temple he or she should be made to wait in the queue which has no priority…

It will be good if they use the amount collected for maintenance of some of the historic temples or so… god only knows how that money is used… and one more thing which I don’t understand is that the prayers of the people like “if so and so things happens I will put this much money in so and so temples Hundial….. bla bla bla ”… they think that they are donating money for a good cause, may be they are doing it for a good cause… but god will be more happy if u donate at least 50% of that money to some Blind School or some orphanage or Blue cross and keep the remaining 50% in ur pockets… and u will also feel good that u have donated money for some noble cause… try doing that… u will experience the satisfaction in ur HEART… at the end of the day u will also be praised by many…

And one worse thing which is encouraged in the surroundings of the temple is begging… you can find at least 5 beggars in the entrance of the temple… and the number is very very high in front some historic temples… and the worst thing is that we encourage them by giving them money, thinking what’s going to happen in the one rupee which we are giving them and because of this the number of beggars increase day by day since it gives them a good income… doesn’t this create a bad image among the foreigners who come to see these historic temple… what will be in their mind… the architecture of the temple or the beggars????

I really don’t know how to end this blog… I don’t like to find fault in any one of ur belief system and all... u may think that putting money in Hundial or donating beggars is good and u may feel that its correct too… at the end of the day it u who is going to decide what u r going to do…

Keep visiting :)

Manja Kattu Nagar... (kathia alla nijam)

I enjoyed my life when I studied in the college... I usually don’t roam much in my college days... but roam occasionally one such day which I will never forget is the day in which 7 of us went to place called MANJA KATTU NAGAR which is outside the city limits....

It was a Saturday... we were all on our way back to our home after writing test(every Saturday we had test in our college)... when we reached the railway station one guy by the name Suresh told that one of his frnds have started a fast food... and he invited6 of us for having dinner in that fast food... we asked were is the fast food located... he told that "it's in a highway which connects Madhavaram and Thiruvallur" he also told that its 15kms away from the city... all of us were ok with the place...

By 7.15pm we gathered at Mathavaram and we started to that place... Suresh stopped his bike in a PCO and made a call ... He came out of the PCO telling that he has placed our order in the fast food and the food will be ready by 8.30 :-) ... now we r about to start... finally, after lot of discussions suresh and Rajkumar took the Passion Bike, Rakesh and Pradeep took Suziki, shamil and ashwin came in Pulsar and I was left alone with "TVS exel Super"(a 1000cc bike), since we were about to travel in a High way I was asked to come alone in that power full bike…

Suresh told “its just 7.30 now… the dinner will be ready only by 8.30pm so lets go to the ground spend some time and then proceed”… all of us agreed… there was no one in the ground... we parked our bikes and were chatting in the ground… Suresh was telling about the bad happening in his area... it’s 8pm now... we did not notice the time... Suresh told that we will be late to that place if we start now... he also told that he knew a shortcut to that place and asked whether we can take up that route… all of us agreed the go by that route... after traveling for about a km we were asked to take a left... a board said that the road leads to a place called as "MANJA KATTU NAGAR"... we droved for about 500meters... there were no street lights on that road... Suresh told that on the either side of the road is mango Farm... but we were not able to see anything the place was completely dark and was very cool... the source only of light for that place at that time was the moon... I was able to feel the chillness in my ears... Now and then my teeth’s started typing... all of us were traveling with only a feet gap between out bikes... by this time we have traveled nearly 2kms... suddenly Suresh bike got Switched off... immediately he shouted "Hey my engine has stopped running.... pls wait..."

Suresh immediately applied break and stopped his bike… and Ashwin stopped his bike next to Suresh… The bike which I droved had pen drive break’s (Ashwin’s had only disk breaks) so I stopped my bike 5 meters after of them… Rakesh was kind enough to come and stop his bike next to me… Suresh was trying hard to start his bike but no effect… and to save petrol all of us switched off our engine and was waiting for suresh to start his bike… pradeep got down from the bike and went to help Suresh… Now me and Rakesh were separated by 5 meters from the other 5 … both of us were discussing about the strange sound of the insects which we were hearing…
To my surprise towards my left I saw a white cow in the farm land… immediately I told rakesh “Macha I was really shocked on seeing that white cow da…” Rakesh said “me too”… now I felt as if the cow was walking in reverse with its back toward me… and suddenly it appeared as if it’s a old woman in a white saree with long hair walking towards me(previously the hair appeared like the cows tail) … I saw a cigarette in her hand… but nothing was clear to my eyes… since we have switched off the ignition there was no light… so I switched on the ignition and started my 1000cc bike so that I can see that creature clearly with the help of the head light… as soon as I started the bike that creature came screaming towards me I saw sparks of fire coming from the creatures hand… at the same instance I raised the accelerator (The bike had an auto gear facility) and I moved away from the creature(with a loud “heyyyyyyy….” from my mouth)… after traveling certain distance turned back to see what is that… and gain shocked to see some one next to me… Thank god it was Rakesh in his bike… All these happened in approximately 20 seconds…

Rakesh asked me what is that… I did not reply to him (actually noting came out of my mouth :-( )… and we saw some one running towards us… it was pradeep... he sat in my bike and asked us to move… but 4 of my frnds were there… We saw 2 such creatures coming from the farm… suresh left his bike and started running in the opposite direction… and those creature started beating shamil and ashwin… Rajkumar was shouting “nan ella.. nan ella...(its not me… its not me)” he was pushed towards the farm… and Suresh started screaming… all 3 of us did not have guts to go back and help them… suddenly we saw 2 powerful head lights… both have started the bike(including suresh) and all 4 were safe… we started riding the bike at the maximum speed in which can [my 50 cc bike did not cross 55kmph:-( ]… and my frnds slowed down for me…

we drived for about 2 more kms… again the road was splitting into 2… we saw a small shop in the right side road… so we took that road, reached that shop and told the shopkeeper the entire story… he told that they might be robbers… we asked an alternate route and came to Madhavaram… finally me, shamil, ahswin and pradeep went to a hotel and had our dinner(because I told my mom that I wont come for the dinner)…

I had a sleep less night… The next day we told the entire story to our class frnds… we had mixed responses from all my class frnds… it was gr8 fun

After a weeks we came to know about the truth… to know the truth see my comment

Should our politicians be educated??

I think that majority of us will say that our politicians should be educated… even I agree with that… but education is not the only thing which is needed for making a good politician rather I would say that education is not the only thing which makes up a good citizen…

All our government employees are educated right… but in government offices like RTO, corruption exists in some way or the other na … y such an example… here is the best example… some of the best brains in our country which clear IAS and IPS exams are also caught for corruption right??

So education is not the only thing which is required for a man to be perfect

After our independence, our country was lead by some gr8 people who are not educated… It’s because those people had the will power and mind to serve and save our country… They eradicated many problems like sati, cast and lot more from our country…

Now in our country there are lots of politicians (both educated and uneducated) to spoil our country and to place 'n' number of speed breaks for our countries improvement…

Today’s world is very competitive… for such a completive world I feel the people who are “good hearted but without education” and those who are “educated but without the mind to serve the country” will not be able to lead the county in a proper way…

I hope that we get educated and good hearted politicians…

Please Read To Know About The Topic

This is the topic which I like to speak about to each and every frnd of mine... but I have not got the opportunity to discuss with all.. so thought of bloging about this…

Have you ever got a chance of seeing an age old Cow or a goat or a chicken or a bull or at least a pig???? Think….

99% of u people will say no for this question… doesn’t that mean something… doesn’t something run in ur mind now…

Something runs in my mind…

Those poor creatures are not lucky enough to live till the end of its life… they are not allowed to live their life completely… they are all being killed by us for its flesh…

Think about the life which they live... the creature which i pity the most is the bull... its life is really bad... when it is a calf it doesn’t get milk to drink (because we humans drink milk which it is supposed to drink) ... If it grows up its forced by humans to pull heavy loads of materials in hot sun and rain… they are not allowed to stand even for the natures call… and when all its energies are used up and when it can no longer serve humans they are killed mercilessly for its flesh and skin… equally pathetic is the state of the cows… its feed well as long as they are able to covert their blood into milk and finally they are also taken to the slaughter house… imagine such a life for u… working for some one without getting paid and facing a terrible death for some one whom u r not related to…

Would u like to travel in a jam packed bus or at least in a bus in which there is no seat for u for 3 continuous hours??? Definitely NOoooooo na…

But the toughest phase in all the animals life is the last phase… i.e. when they are transported to the slaughter house… if at all u have the chance of traveling from south Tamil nadu to north Tamil nadu u can see at least 2 lorries which are jam packed with buffalos or goats… There is a rule that u cant take more that 6 buffalos in a lorry but u can find more than 30 buffalos in a single lorry(no one cares about the rules in our country)… the animals will be tied to the body of a roof less lorry and will be transported in hot sun for more than 5 hours…

I can’t stand for 2 continuous hours (That too in an air-conditioned room)

With the facilities which are in the slaughter houses in our country less than 10 animals can only be killed in an hour… but during the morning hours 100s of animals are being killed… what a pain full death for those animals… I heard the while killing a pig first its legs will be cut so that it becomes immobile and then they are killed…. I cant even imagine such a death for me… imagine yourself in such a situation…

When bird flu came thousand of birds where killed… do u know what?... The government gave money for the farm owners to buy some drug and mix it with the food of the chicken so that it faints and the they where asked to be put in a sack and so that the bird dies because of lack of oxygen in the sack… but some of the farm owners burnt the birds alive and had the money in their pockets… will u let this happen to ur relatives if they are affected by a contagious disease…

At the end of the day we eat the flesh of such poor animals :(

Oh my god!!!
We should thank god for creating us as humans…
But those
animals will curse us for being humans…

These are just my views…even I eat eggs, drink milk (Cow's Blood) and use leather wallet (animal's skin)…. But I want u think on the above said things…

Thank u for spending ur time on reading this…

The way I got introduced to the COMPUTER

Let me tell u all abt my first exposure to the computer…..

After completing my 10th standard I took physics chemistry and biology as my major…and in my school non computer students will not be allowed inside the computer lab… so I did not get the chance of touching the computer till my 11th standard half yearly exam… during my half yearly leave my dad decided to buy a computer for himself so that he can maintain his patients records in a in pakka manner…. Even at that time I was absolutely clueless on what we can do with a computer…. And one Thursday afternoon my dad told that today evening some persons from “Lotus Computers” will come and install computer in our house… the clock ticked 5.00 I was eagerly waiting outside my house… by 6.30 a grey colored maruthi 800 car came… one guy got down from the car and asked “is this the residence of Rajarathinam”… I told s… he introduced himself and his colleague and came in… they asked me the place where the computer must be placed…. I directed them to my dad’s room… then those 2 guys brought 4 to 5 cardboard boxes from the car… and both of them spoke in a jargon which I did not understand… they unpacked all the boxes and was doing some thing with lots of wires… and after a period of time they took a pair of speakers from a box… I was absolutely clueless abt what they are going to do with the speakers… finally they plugged all the wires in the cpu… me and my mother were watching all these thing curiously from the entrance of the room… after some 20mts of setup, one guy turned to our side and asked who knew to operate the computer… I told that my dad only knows to operate the computer… I asked him to teach me how to operate it…. He said “hmmm” … now he connected the main plug to the power supply and switched it on…

I heard a beep sound from the UPS… he asked me to keep the supply on for 8 hours so that the UPS battery gets charged up… and he booted the comp… I was surprised to hear sound from the computer speakers when windows started… at that time only, I came to know that we can connect speakers to a computer… :) … then he was demonstrating me how to play a song using winamp… I saw an arrow moving in the screen when he did some thing with the mouse… and the mouse pad which he gave us had a picture of a floppy disc and to my eyes the mouse pad appeared like an hi-tech device…. (in my school I have seen 12th standard boys using only the keyboard and not the mouse)… suddenly a window opened when he did something and that window had play, pause, fast forward and other buttons (like my music system)… after doing something he clicked on the play button and I heard the song “jeeva” from the movie “jodi”… (now I came to know that songs can be played in a comp)… then he closed that window and asked me to do what he did… he got up and gave me the seat… I placed my hands over the mouse and was staying calm for about 30 seconds… then that guy told me that if I move the mouse the arrow in the screen will move (So sad of me) this is how I got introduced to the computer…. And at the end of the day, the only thing which I knew about computer was that “I must click START and then click SHUT DOWN and then Click OK to turn off the Computer” (He told that if this process is not carried out to switch off the comp then the comp will die)

And now (after 6 years from my 11th standard)… I am working as a Software Engineer in an MNC

U cant predict ur future… but patience and perseverance are the needs of the hour :)
